As you may
know, our current church was built in 1881. And as such, in the ongoing
preservation of this property, we regularly encounter maintenance issues
that need repair, replacement, or an update. Currently, we have had to
close the steps facing Lake Avenue because of crumbling concrete which
presents a safety issue.
I had a parishioner give me a donation of $5,000 towards the cost of the steps.
I am asking if any parishioner can give a donation towards this project. Your gift will be greatly appreciated and help us move forward with this important project for our church.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
Call the parish office if you are interested in volunteering to help with the Wednesday morning Grounds and Maintenance crew.
Our parish facilities are taken care of by our maintenance staff. Rick Colline is our maintenance supervisor and is responsible for much of the general upkeep of the buildings, and Jim Haley is a part time, all around fix it person.
Volunteers for Grounds and Maintenance
The staff is assisted by our Wednesday volunteers. Every Wednesday morning, a group of volunteers give their time and talent to assist our maintenance staff in some of the many tasks that need attention in a parish this size. Additional volunteers are always welcome.
