Holy Cross Teens - Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12
This group of teens is just a pleasure to be with. We meet weekly from 1:00-2:00 on Sundays in the convent during the school year, with activities taking place all year round that offer opportunities for teens to experience the great blessing it is to help others and to become active members of our parish.

Spiritual Enrichment
We have retreats at Notre Dame in Canandaigua. These are awesome. Once you've attended one, you'll want to go again. We travel every two years to the NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference) with over 800 diocesan teens, joining 20,000 teens from around the nation for a spirit and faith-filled awesome gathering.

Teens help every summer as camp counselors for Vacation Bible School

Social Enrichment
Summer Kick Ball is a fun activity where the teens develop new friendships and continue old ones. Just before Halloween, we host a Haunted Pasta Dinner for the parish with a Trick-or-Treat lane to entertain the children. The school has joined us with their very successful Trunk'r'Treat event.

In the Spring we hold a Lenten Soup Supper. A delicious fundraiser for a cause close to the hearts of the teens. Usually it's teens helping kids. In the past we have raised money for the Children's Burn Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital, The Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and this year, for ACT Now, an organization that promotes eductation about Autism and it's treatments.

We participate in a Camp Out for the Homeless in September. This raises much needed funds. Each year we pick a new group that helps the homeless in our community.

Teens (Santa's elves) make and serve Breakfast with Santa for the children of the parish and give families an opportunity to shop at Santa's Secret Shoppe and do a holiday craft, while enjoying a delicious breakfast and visiting with Santa.

Educational Enrichment
Each June/July at Holy Cross, we host a program called Future Now. During this two-day event we discuss, and put into practice, leadership qualities and experiences that will be useful not just in parish life, but in all aspects of life. It's a wonderful opportunity to come together with teens from all over the diocese, while developing friendships along with leadership skills.

National and International Opportunities
We have also attended the World Youth Day in Toronto which proves to be an exhausting, yet truly faith-building experience for Catholics from all over the world. And every two years we attend the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis. This experience is beyond words.
