The Holy Cross Varsity & Junior Varsity High School Basketball teams and their coaches provided service to the residents at St.Anne's Community on Portland Avenue on Sunday, February 13, 2011.
The players escorted
the residents to Mass and to the coffee hour after Mass, while
distributing coffee and donuts and helping to clean up. The boys did a
great job and were perfect gentlemen representing their parish. Below
is their team photo with a statue of St.Anne outside of the nursing
home, along with the kids greeting one the "happy" residents.
Many thanks to our players and coaches who displayed a great deal of love and compassion for the residents.
