May Day Surprise Drop Off
Aren’t they something? Yes they are! A very special annual event for youth group is our May day surprise drop off. Our Holy Cross Tweens/Teens and their families were busy this past weekend spreading springtime happiness with the simple joy and love of the season—with flowers and cards and other special surprises. Many kids and their families doing kind and wonderful touching things; more then we’ve ever had. We are so very blessed to be in this Holy Cross Parish Family. Praying for you all and wishing you a very Happy May Day.
We are all facing uncertainty with school, work, and daily life due to Covid-19. To provide Faith Formation in a safe way, we are offering a new home-based program. Our new model is based on the Sunday Mass Gospel Readings and has age-appropriate materials that a family can do together with all their children at the same time! Please follow the links below to learn more about this exciting new way to teach our children about the Catholic Faith and to register for 2020-2021!
Please do not continue to drop off bottles and cans. The Boy Scouts are no longer collecting these at Holy Cross. If you would like to donate the proceeds from the return of your bottles and cans, please place check* or cash in an envelope c/o Holy Cross Social Ministry and drop it in the collection or send it to the parish office. Money will be used to supplement the Food Pantry. *Pay to order of: Holy Cross
We are Holy Cross Girl Scout Troop 61046. We are a multilevel troop with Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors from grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. We meet twice per month on Tuesday evenings at Beacon Place. From crafts to STEM activities and field trips to holiday parties and service projects, the girls are busy earning badges and having fun! Any questions can be sent to Kelly Thompson, Troop Leader, at firstname.lastname@example.org
The objective of all of these groups is to enable our young people to develop and grow a personal relationship with Jesus.
