Funeral Planning

Liturgy

We offer choices of readings and music. Family or friends can participate in the Presentation of the Gifts. Funeral booklets and our Parish Resurrection Choir are available for each Mass. Contact the parish staff for any special assistance you may require. In addition, the Martha & Mary Ministry is available upon request to prepare and serve a reception in the parish center following the burial of a loved one. This can be a great support to the family. Just contact the parish office to check on the availability of the parish center and to make arrangements.

For the convenience of the bereaved, the following will be contacted by the parish office for a funeral at Holy Cross Church:

  • Organist
  • Resurrection Choir
  • Greeters hand out the funeral booklets and are also the Ministers of Communion.
  • Maintenance
  • Altar Servers
  • Luncheons

Liturgy of Remembrance

Our God of Consolation, in His unending love and mercy, has turned the darkness of death into the dawn of new life.

We Invite You to a Special Liturgy of Remembrance

Saturday, November 20 at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross

This Liturgy will be offered in memory of our loved ones who have passed away during this past year. Watch for an invitation in the mail for you and your family to attend this celebration. In light of COVID-19 we require masks and social distancing. Our capacity is limited, so a reservation is required. All are invited to view the Mass streamed live on our parish websites.
