Next week at all the Masses, we will have the blessing of the Il Bambinello (The Infant.)
Please bring your image of the Infant Jesus from your Manger set at home. It will be blessed after Communion.
There are still a lot of ornaments on the Giving Tree. Please feel free to take one (or two) to help the less fortunate.
We still need people to light the Advent Wreath before Mass. See article at right.
Thanks to all who made a pledge to the annual Catholic Ministries Appeal so far. We are making some great progress toward our goal.
The information in our bulletin today is from Thursday on the insert page. Our deadline this week was on Tuesday Noon.
Who do you know that is not on today’s list. Can you ask that person to join the team and pledge our goal by Christmas?
Please note that this list includes those who have returned a pledge to the parish by 11:00 AM on Thursday. Also, I do get daily reports automatically at 2:00 AM by e-mail. This tells me the names of all who were recorded at the CMA office by the close of business on the previous day.
The CMA Thermometer in the church always has the latest information because it can be updated at any time.
Thanks to all those who made the Breakfast with Santa a success.
Father Jorge Ramirez will celebrate the 5:20 PM this Monday and will hold the “Night of the Little Candles” after Mass. There will be Mass on Monday 7:30 AM also
The Knights of Columbus will have a meeting on the Third Tuesday as usual. This will be on December 17. Please note that this will be a Christmas Party too at 5:30 PM at Mr. Dominic’s. We invite men of the parish and their wives to come and learn about the work of the K of C. For Reservations call Tommy Plantone.
We still have at least a month to add more names to our K of C Charter.
We have received a $1,000 bequest from the will of Fr. Frederick Bush (1926-2017) who served at Holy Cross 1961-1965. This gift will help with “Lift High the Cross.”
Sincerely, Father Gagnier
